Viento is a jazz-rock trio led by Mexican drummer and composer David Najera Gonzalez. The first single of their self-titled EP, "Laura", will be released on February 6th.

"When writing for Viento, I was reconnecting with the first music I fell in love with, rock. I wanted the songs to covey emotion. I believe I succeeded with "Laura", which I wrote to express my love for my wife."
The rest of the EP will be released with a new single each month. Each song takes inspiration from different artists David admires such as Sly Stone and Art Blakey.
